Block Paving Cleaning

High Pressure CleaningWork will consist of weeding and sweeping the whole area followed by the use of soapy water and a firm scrubbing. The area will then be high pressure cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner and lance attached to an industrial petrol powered pressure washer.

Sanding, Sealing and Repairing Block Paving

Sanding of the area can take place when the area is completely dry and likely to stay dry for the duration of the task. Sand is carefully brushed between all blocks followed by the use of a Wacker Plate (vibrational machine); this is done twice to ensure all gaps are adequately filled. It is then recommended that the sealant is applied as soon after as possible to ensure no unwanted dirt, moss, grass or weeds get the chance to settle or push through. Vehicles should be kept off paving for at least 24 hours after the sealant is applied (people and pets should keep off area until it is completely dry).

We are also able to carry out repairs on any dips or sunken areas that block paving in particular can sometimes suffer from. By removing the blocks from the affected area, we can raise the base sand and replace the original blocks before brushing in a fresh covering of joint sand to firm up and finish the repair. We will also source and replace any broken bricks at the customer’s request.

Wood Decking Cleaning

High Pressure CleaningWork will consist of the whole area been swept and tidied, followed by a hard brush scrub with sugar soap. The area will then be high pressure cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner and lance attached to an industrial petrol powered pressure washer (including hand rail/balustrade).

Treating Wood Decking

Decking Protector/Oil/Stain can be applied when the area is completely dry and likely to stay dry for the near future. The product is applied using a soft paint brush to ensure all gaps are adequately covered. This process helps to safeguard the area from rot and decay whilst nourishing the wood and giving a quality finish. People and furniture should be kept off the decking for at least 6 hours after the protector/oil/stain is applied.

Stone Flags Cleaning

High Pressure CleaningWork will consist of weeding and sweeping the whole area followed by the use of soapy water and a firm scrubbing. The area will then be high pressure cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner and lance attached to an industrial petrol powered pressure washer.

Grouting/Pointing Stone Flags

Grouting or pointing can only take place when the area is completely dry and likely to stay dry for the near future. Some patio flags are sanded and so can be re-sanded, in which case the procedure is the same as block paving. In many cases where cement has been used between the cracks there is no need to grout or point as the original cement remains intact throughout the cleaning procedure.

However, if the cement is week or damaged, it can sometimes be blasted out by the high
pressure equipment, in which case wet or dry mortar can be carefully applied to bind and
strengthen the joints.

Building, Roof and Gutter Cleaning

Building and Roof CleaningWork will consist of the brickwork, gutters, UPVC/wood and roof being cleaned using a lance attached to an industrial petrol powered pressure washer and/or a water-fed extension pole with appropriate attachments.

High Access Cleaning

Before work commences, a full site specific health and safety assessment will be carried out to determine the best way to proceed. Areas will be accessed with a range of methods in mind, including a scaffold tower, cherry picker (man lift), scissor lift and water-fed extension pole.

Conservatory Cleaning

Conservatory CleaningWork will consist of the gutters, UPVC/wood and roof being cleared/cleaned using a lance attached to an industrial petrol powered pressure washer, a water-fed pole and soft brush. The whole area will then be finished off with a cleaning pad and squeegee attached to a water-fed pole.

Polishing Conservatories

Polishing can only take place when the area is completely dry and likely to stay dry for the duration of the task. A UPVC Restorer will be applied to remove any stubborn ground in dirt and stains. The glass will be polished with a micro fibre pad attached to an extension pole.

Tarmac Cleaning

Tarmac CleaningWork will consist of weeding and sweeping the whole area followed by the use of soapy water and a firm scrubbing. The area will then be high pressure cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner and lance attached to an industrial petrol powered pressure washer.

Repairs, re-colouring and Sealing Tarmac

Repairs of the area can take place when the area is completely dry and likely to stay dry for the near future. It is recommended that any cracks or potholes be filled with a specialised joint repair material designed to rebind and strengthen the affected area.

The paint seal is applied as soon after as possible to ensure no unwanted dirt or moss gets chance to settle. Vehicles should be kept off the tarmac for at least 24 hours after the paint seal is applied (people and pets should keep off area until it is completely dry).
